New mayor and councillors to take oath at swearing-in ceremony

The inaugural meeting of North Bay City Council will be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.

The inaugural meeting of North Bay’s newly-elected city council — for the Nov.15, 2022–Nov. 14, 2026 term of office — is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, located on the second floor of North Bay City Hall.

Peter Chirico is the mayor-elect after his victory in the October 24 municipal election.

The 10 city councillors elected by voters are:

  • Maggie Horsfield
  • Lana Mitchell
  • Justine Mallah
  • Chris Mayne
  • Mark King
  • Sara Inch
  • Tanya Vrebosch
  • Jamie Lowery
  • Gary Gardiner
  • Mac Bain

The meeting will include a swearing-in ceremony during which the mayor and council will take an oath of office.
