Leading global food and facilities management company, Sodexo Canada, has been named the new food service provider at the NUSU Student Centre.

As part of this multi-year agreement, Sodexo will operate the Bay Bistro restaurant and On the Rocks Nightclub, as well as provide exclusive catering services on-premises.

"Sodexo will offer student groups access to cost-effective catering services including a Student Social Value Menu and will work with the student body to develop catering solutions to suit their needs," says a news release. "Students will also be able to order food from the Bay Bistro and On the Rocks menus for catering events as well."

“Sodexo’s extensive experience in the post-secondary sector, understanding of student needs, and commitment to improving the quality of life of the people and communities it serves, will be invaluable as we seek to grow our conference business and ensure a financially viable business model for NUSU’s restaurant and nightclub,” said Renée Hacquard, Assistant Vice-President, of Nipissing University.

Catering menus and services will be reviewed on a semesterly basis to make any necessary adjustments.

In preparation for the opening of the On the Rocks Nightclub later this fall, Sodexo is currently hiring for the general manager position. The posting can be viewed here
