United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts’ Leadership Development Program is offering a seminar on Understanding Financial Statements.

This workshop is for senior management and board members who are responsible for the financial health of an organization. Facilitated by Denise Beardmore, CGA, a senior accountant at BDO, this workshop will discuss the components of financial statements and how to understand them as well as fraud and risk management.

The seminar will be held at Memorial Gardens, located at 100 Chippewa Street on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The cost for this seminar is $25 and will include a light supper that will be served at 5:15 p.m. Space is limited.
