Near North students headed to Canada Wide Science Fair

The Near North District School Board is pleased to announce that several students will compete at the 50th Annual Canada-Wide Science Fair during the week of May 14 – 21, 2011 in Toronto. These top young scientists compete for medals, cash awards, scholarships and other prizes at the highest level of science fair competition in Canada.
Kudos to the following students who are moving on to the Canada-Wide Science Fair:

Elora Weiler, Evergreen Heights Education Centre
Lauren Anderson and Fiona Weaver, Land of Lakes Public School
Sarah Payne and Carly Turcotte, Widdifield Secondary School
