Near North board ratifies agreements with CUPE

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Office, Clerical and Technical Local 1165-1 and Custodial and Maintenance Local 1165-2 and the Near North District School Board have ratified their four year collective agreements. CUPE Local 1165-1 and CUPE Local 1165-2 contracts were ratified by their membership on Sunday and by the Board, at its regular meeting, on Tuesday, November 25.

Both parties involved are pleased with the ratification. Together, we are committed to achieving student success in the Near North District School Board.

The Near North District School Board has approximately 228 office, clerical, technical, custodial and maintenance staff who belong to CUPE Local 1165-1 and CUPE Local 1165-2 in 45 schools, serving more than 11,000 students.
