Near North Board hosting Grade 9 information sessions

It is never too early for parents to begin planning for their child’s transition into a secondary school environment. Near North District School Board secondary schools are hosting Grade 9 information sessions for parents of students who are presently in grades 6, 7 and 8. Secondary school information sessions will cover everything from the educational transitions to Grade 9, to the introduction of various career paths the Near North District School Board can prepare students for.

Parents are encouraged to learn more about their child’s pathways and come out and dialogue with dedicated principals and teachers so that parents can help their children plan for their successful future with the Near North District School Board.

Information session and market place displays from departments and extracurricular programs, and tours of school available.

Chippewa Secondary School 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Northern Secondary School Spaghetti Dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria followed by a presentation in the Library at 6:00 p.m.
