Police are wondering today how and why a canoe ended up sitting on a local skidoo trail.
On Sunday, a red, Scott canoe was found on a ski-doo trail near Booth Road, East Ferris Township.
It is unknown why the canoe was on the trail, and there is no information on the canoe to identify the owner.
North Bay OPP are trying to find the owner of the canoe to return it, and to also determine how it got onto the trail.
Any person with information regarding the owner of the canoe should contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
