WEEKEND RIDE STATS
During the past weekend, overnight July 30-31, officers of the North Bay Police Service conducted a RIDE check.

Here are the statistics gathered from that check:

Total vehicles stopped: 360

Total roadside tests administered: 5

Total breathalyzer tests: 0

Highway Traffic Act charges: 1

ARREST RE STOLEN VEHICLE
On Aug. 2 shortly after 11 PM constables Larry Asselin and Mark Ethier of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend the Lovell Avenue & Karla Street area re a disturbance. The officers arrived to find that there was a group of men who were holding a man for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle and one of the men’s wallet.

The officers arrested a male in relation to the alleged offence.

Jason Robert WALL, 34, of no fixed address, is charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of stolen property. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
