A high profile member of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation has been named as a new Vice Chair for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP).

Tammy Morison, CFRE, President and Chief Executive Officer at North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, will now serve as the AHP board’s vice chair.

Morison has served on the AHP Board since 2021 and is current past chair, AHP Canada Council.

“AHP has provided learning, development and benchmarking guidance for me and my colleagues since beginning my career in healthcare philanthropy almost nineteen years ago. I am grateful for this opportunity to give back to the association and its membership through service, leadership and advocacy," said Morison about the appointment.

The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) says Morison and two more board members' appointments will each help support AHP’s work inspiring, educating, and serving those transforming healthcare through philanthropy.

The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) is described as "the healthcare development professionals’ definitive source of thought leadership, connections to facilitate innovation, and tools to advance knowledge and elevate philanthropy."

As the world’s largest association for healthcare fundraising professionals, AHP represents 7,500 members who raise more than $11 billion each year for community health services.
