Meet the Candidates goes tonight

Just a reminder, the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce "Meet-the-Candidates" night is scheduled for this evening, Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 23.

The evening begins with the public meeting with the candidates one-on-one between 6 pm and 7 pm. The formal part of the evening begins at 7 pm.

Four candidates of the five running in Nipissing region will be on hand for the event. Monique Smith, Liberal; Bill Vrebosch, PC; Henri Giroux, NDP; and Suzanne Plouffe, Family Coalition. The Green Party Candidate will not be in the region to participate on Tuesday evening.

This year's event will be taped by Cogeco and replayed on Saturday, September 29 at 7 pm and also heard live on CKAT radio.

Moderator for the evening is Scott Clark and the media panel includes: Pascale Marchand, Cogeco; Jeff Turl, Rogers Broadcasting; Kate Adams, Baytoday; and Dave Dale, Nugget.
