McIntyre St, investigation ends peacefully. Evacuation ended

Members of the North Bay Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police will remain in the area while they continue their investigation.

Police haven't finished their investigation yet, but residents of the 800 block of McIntyre At. E. have returned to their homes after being evacuated early this morning for a police  investigation.

The 800-block of McIntyre Street East, North Bay, previously closed by police to the public is now open, but officers are guarding the scene while they wait for a search warrant for 837 McIntyre.

Members of the North Bay Police Service and the OPP will remain in the area while they continue their investigation.

There is no imminent threat to public safety. 

The police investigation is continuing. Further updates are expected later today..
