Marijuana bust

Two North Bay people have been busted by the Joint Forces Operation.

The bust was made aroud 6:30 p.m. at a home on Johnston Road, using a narcotic search warrant.

A North Bay Police Service drug officer, and officers from the Ontario Provincial drug squad, working with the city Street Crime Unit seized about 3.5 kilograms of high grade marijuanaT with a street value of over $67,000. Over $21,000 in Canadian cash was also seized.

Roger Roy, 47, and Debbie Kendall, 49, both of Johnston Road, have both charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana. They will appear in court March 2.
