Maple Hill Sap Run on tap this month

On Sunday April 28 runners from around the region will be lacing up their shoes for the official kick-off of to the local race reason, the Maple Hill Sap Run.

Participants can run or walk the 5 and 10 km route and the popular kid's 500 M dash returns.

Last year saw the event return in person with a showing of 220 participants. The race is hoping to push close to the 300 mark this year.

Although positioned as a fun run, the race is officially timed by Sportstats with prizes awarded to top finishers of various age groups in male and female categories.

Local sponsors Sugarstone Farm will be providing prizes and food is being served by the Carriage House Market , Wasi Chefs, and Orchards Fresh Food Market. Entertainment and MC services are provided by Vicki Tyler from KISS 100.5 FM.
