A 23-year-old North Bay man couldn't dig his way out of this one.
Police say that during the evening of Thursday August 18th, a man threatened two male victims, previously unknown to him.
Later that evening, outside his home, he picked up a shovel and brandished it towards the victims, who fled the scene uninjured.
Following an investigation into a threats complaint reported on Saturday evening, North Bay Police arrested:
Jeffery John Paul Chevrier, age 23, at his North Bay home and charged him with:
- One count of utter threats; and
- One count of assault with a weapon.
Chevier was held in custody for a bail hearing.
