A man who let his temper get the best of him faces multiple charges today after punching a police officer.
West Parry Sound OPP were called about a man who was running a chainsaw and cutting wood in a residential area .
A hydro poll was damaged.
When police approached the man, he became aggressive and struck an officer with his fist.
The man was Tazered, but police say he continued to show aggressive behaviour by pushing an officer and kicking another officer in the shoulder and arm area.
As a result, Christopher Forbes, 43, of Parry Sound was arrested and charged with:
- Mischief under $5,000 x 4 counts.
- Assault with intent to resist arrest x 3 counts.
Forbes remains in custody for a bail hearing today.
