Man charged with fraud

On December 04, 2007 Cst. Bradley Reaume of the North Bay Police Service commenced an investigation of a Theft of a generator belonging to West Ferris Secondary School in North Bay.

A Westmeath Ontario resident had contacted the Principal of West Ferris Secondary to advise that he had purchased a generator from a North Bay resident and became suspicious of his purchase when he discovered the letters WFSS on the generator. The generator was stolen during a Break and Enter to a garage in North Bay at some time earlier.

William Channon, 39-years-old, of West Peninsula Rd. in North Bay has been charged with Break Enter & Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, and Fraud and released from custody with a court date of January 15, 2008
