Man charged with assault with a weapon

A 43-year-old male was arrested at a Hammond Street Residence upon his second attempt at vigilante justice.

Just after midnight, this male attended at a residence on the 1000 block of Hammond Street, pounded on the door, damaged the door and threatened the resident with a knife. He then left, damaging a vehicle, which was parked across the street from this residence. Police were called and statements were taken.

The accused, still unknown by the victims, re-attended at 0240 hrs, kicked the door in and again threatened the occupants. Police were called again and arrested a male suspect.

Randy Robinson, of West Peninsula Road in North Bay is presently being held for a bail hearing under charges of Weapons Dangerous, Assault with a weapon, mischief X 2, Break & Entering and Threatening.
