Police have charged a North Bay man after a break and enter on Ski Club Road Saturday.
Early morning Saturday, while walking along Ski Club Road, a man entered the backyards of numerous residential properties.
Then, at approximately 2:10 a.m., he kicked in the door of one house, causing damage. He then fled the scene.
North Bay Police located and arrested him on Norman Street shortly thereafter.
Police charged Riley Rose, age 18, of North Bay with:
- one count of trespass by night; and
- one count of break and enter with intent.
Rose was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th.
Meanwhile over the weekend, North Bay Police responded to 259 calls for service, and arrested and charged 13 people with the following offences:
- One person was charged with one count of robbery, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of utter threats to cause bodily harm, one count of possession of cocaine, one count of possession of marijuana, and one count of forcible confinement;
- One person was charged with one count of break and enter and theft, and one count of theft under $5000;
- One person was charged with one count of break and enter and theft, one count of theft under $5000 and one count of breach of Officer in Charge undertaking;
- One person was charged with one count of break and enter with intent and one count of trespass by night;
- One person was charged with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breach of probation;
- One person was charged with one count of care and control while impaired and one count of care and control over 80 mg;
- One person was charged with one count of breach of Officer in Charge undertaking and two counts of breach of probation;
- One person was charged with one count of breach of recognizance;
- Two people were charged with public intoxication;
- One person was charged with one count of domestic assault;
- One person was charged with one count of possession of cocaine and three counts of breach of recognizance;
- One person was charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of recognizance.
