Mattawa OPP responded to a barricading incident at a home in the area of Park Street, Mattawa.
A man had barricaded himself and refused to surrender to police.
The area was secured and neighbours evacuated.
Numerous resources including the OPP Emergency Response Team, Crime Unit, Negotiators and Canine Unit responded to try and talk the man out peacefully.
After negotiations, the man surrendered to police and was taken into custody without further incident.
