OPP are searching for two men who attacked another man on Huntsville's Main St. yesterday morning.
Just before 6 a.m. police were called about an assault with a weapon that had taken place on Main St W.
A man had been walking towards the downtown in the area of Station Rd. when the attackers came up behind the victim and struck him on the head twice with what appeared to be a steel rod.
The victim managed to run to a nearby store and was taken to a local area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The attackers are both described as:
- white,
- in their late teens or early 20's,
- wearing dark clothing.
They were last seen getting into an older model white or grey SUV on Main St. W. driving south on Paget Ln. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
