On the 9th of Oct. at approximately 9:30 PM a man attended the North Bay General Hospital for treatment to welts and abrasions to various areas of his body.

It is alleged that the man was walking in the area of Morin St. and McLeod St. shortly before. It is further alleged that this man was attacked by two men who struck him several times with what appeared to be a Police style baton and brass knuckles.

These men then ripped the victim’s wallet from his pants but it was later recovered.

The suspects are described as:

1-male white, mid 20s to 30s, clean-shaven, with brown or dark hair, and wearing an Exco ball cap with a black or blue coat and carrying a baton.

2-male white, and wearing a ball cap and maybe a hooded sweat top. This male was carrying the brass knuckles type of weapon.
