*CUSC; ** NSSE

Maclean’s primarily employed two national surveys, the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Canadian Undergraduate Survey Consortium (CUSC), to measure universities.

“We are pleased that Maclean’s is publicizing the results of these national surveys,” said university president Dennis Mock. "As we've seen in the past, Nipissing performs exceptionally well in student and graduate surveys. We've witnessed that previously in Maclean’s Graduate Surveys as well as the Globe and Mail University Report Card. Our hope is that Maclean’s will begin incorporating more data of this nature into their annual fall rankings issue to make that tool more effective for students deciding on which university to attend.”

"It is rewarding for us, as an institution that takes great pride in being student-centred, to see that our students value the educational experience that our faculty and staff are working hard to provide. On behalf of the university, I thank the faculty and staff for their continued commitment and dedication, and the students who participated in these surveys.”
