Lots of awards for locals at Miss North Ontario 2016 Pageant

Three local candidates recognized at regional pageant.

It was a good day for a handful of local girls who competed at the 2016 Miss North Ontario Pageant last weekend in Sudbury.  

North Bay’s Dagmar D'Agostino was selected as a National Finalist for the Miss Teenage Canada this summer.

Shayla McWeeney received the "Beautiful Soul" Award for her volunteer work in collecting over 700 pairs of shoes for less fortunate for the Soles 4 Soles Charity.  

Nicole Renaud was the runner-up for the Fitness Award. 

Participant Tiffany Hill did not receive an award but says she plans on attending the Miss Heartbeat pageant which will take place this fall in Timmins
