Local woman charged with extortion

On the 17th of June at approximately 5:15PM, it is alleged that a female refused to give back a computer that belonged to a male person.

The female allegedly stated the male party would have to pay money to have his own computer returned to him.

Dt./Cst. Richard Hampel as well Csts. Kailey Bradley and Paul Trahan of the North Bay Police Service arrested the female in relation to this incident.

Amber DIBARTOLOMEO 22 years old of Memorial Dr. is charged with Extortion and released with a court date of 5th August 2008.
