Corbeil cartoonist Lynn Johnston, known for her strip "For Better or For Worse" is one of hundreds of Canadians who have had their private tax information accidently disclosed to the CBC.
The Canada Revenue Agency confirms the document was ”accidentally released” through human error and acknowledges it ”constitutes a serious breach of privacy.”
The confidential details, including home addresses of taxpayers and the value of tax credits they were granted, are contained in a copy of a Canada Revenue Agency spreadsheet covering the years 2008 to 2013.
