Local cancer society is sticking it to colon cancer

Colon Cancer is the Number 2 killer of men and women in Canada, yet the disease is 90% treatable if caught early.

The Canadian Cancer Society will be in Centre Court at Northgate Square Saturday January 15, 2011 from 10:00 to 2:00 providing information about colon cancer screening.

There will be health partners on hand to discuss the screening options available as well as volunteers and colon cancer survivors to talk about their experiences.
