Karina Neff was a ray of sunshine and saw the good in everyone and everything. "She was our little angel on earth", as her mother would say. "She was loving and caring daughter, sister and friend and we will miss her every minute of the day."

On behalf of the whole family, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire police staff at Peel 11 Division. They were extremely professional and supportive, and had every available officer and resource dedicated to finding our Karina.

Words cannot express our thanks for finding her and apprehending the accused so quickly.

Peel Regional Police are currently on scene investigating the discovery of a woman's body in a Mississauga park, and investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau believe it to be 31-year-old Karina NEFF (pictured), sister of North Bay Business Women and Chamber of Commerce Board Director Nicole Neff.

Neff, who functions at an impaired mental capacity, was walking her dog Monday night around 10:00 pm and was suspected missing when the dog returned home without her.

The department is waiting for results from forensic testing to officially confirm the identity, however, a phone call placed to the Peel Police Media Department has officers saying they strongly believe it to be Neff.
