Lifeguards back on duty this weekend

Two local beaches will be staffed this summer

City of North Bay lifeguards will be on duty beginning Saturday, June 25 at Shabogesic Beach next to King's Landing on Lake Nipissing and at Olmsted Beach in Armstrong Park on Trout Lake. The lifeguards will be on duty at both beaches seven days a week from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. until late August.

The City says Birchaven Cove will not be supervised this year due to difficulty recruiting lifeguards.
