'Let’s Remember Adam' Christmas Fill the Bus Toy & Food Drive

'We want to do whatever we can to help make sure that no child goes without a gift this Christmas or food on the table'

The "Let’s Remember Adam Campaign" and the Ranger family are hosting the third annual Christmas Fill the Bus Toy & Food Drive.

"We started this event two years ago, and through the generosity of the Mattawa and area community, these events were huge successes," says organizer Pierre Ranger.  "We were able to make Christmas a lot brighter for many families in our area. We truly thank every one of you for that."

Once again, donations of non-perishable food items and new unopened toys for kids aged 0-14 will be accepted.

"Unfortunately, we are not able to accept used toys due to COVID regulations," explains Ranger.

All donations will be given to the Mattawa & Area Food Bank to help local families.

"We want to do whatever we can to help make sure that no child goes without a gift this Christmas or food on the table. Everyone who donates can enter a draw to win a family-friendly gift basket."

The event takes place Saturday, November 26 from 10 to 2 p.m. at 333 Main Street Mattawa. Look for the yellow school bus

If you are not able to make it to us that day and still want to donate, reach out to Pierre Ranger.

"We also have committee members that live in the North Bay area that are willing to collect items."
