The playground at Lee Park will be closed starting Tuesday as work to install a new accessible and age-friendly structure gets underway.

Crews will be removing old playground equipment beginning Tuesday, Aug.6, 2019, to make way for the new enhanced structure.

The City of North Bay has partnered with the Kiwanis Club on the project, which is expected to be completed by October.

The new playground will include wide ramps, large decks, and specialized accessible swings, seesaws and spinners.
