Laurentian Ski Hill is following direction from the Ontario Ski Resorts Association and is closing the ski hill.

"Shortly after we sent out the last update, we received direction from Ontario Ski Resorts Association, our governing body, to cease all operations for the remainder of the season," Laurentian Ski Hill stated in an email to members.

"This is not how we wanted to end the year, however, these are uncertain times and we wish all of our ski families good health in the coming weeks and months," the message continued.

As of Monday morning, Antoine Mountain in Mattawa remains open for its March Break programming, but at 8 a.m. they announced they are following the same path and will close at the end of the day today.

"It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Monday, March 16 will be our last day of the season."
