..Snow over Northern Ontario reaching North Bay this evening..

A low pressure system over South Iowa this afternoon will move south of the upper Great Lakes tonight. Snow associated with this system is affecting areas between Lake Superior and James Bay where 10 to 20 centimetres are expected. Snow will reach North Bay this evening.

Southerly winds ahead of this system will move over Lake Huron and bring higher amounts over Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake and Manitoulin - Northshore - Killarney where snowfall warning has been issued.

Near 15 centimetres are likely in these areas. Lesser amounts are expected further east.

Snow tapered to a few flurries between Kenora and Lake Nipigon.

A low pressure system over South Dakota this morning will move south of the upper Great Lakes tonight. Snow associated with this system is already affecting as far east as Geraldton and will continue to Progress eastward today.

Areas between the Manitoba border and Lake Nipigon will have received a total of 5 to 10 centimetres of snow by the time the snow tapers Off later today. However as the system gains more moisture..
Regions to the north of the upper Great Lakes may see up to 15 centimetres of snow today and additional amounts tonight.

Snowfall warnings have been issued for these affected regions.

The snow will begin in the rest of Northeastern Ontario later today.

These areas can expect to see a storm total of 10 to 15 cm by the time the snow ends on Tuesday.
