Lakeshore Dr. woman arrested for threatening and possession

On April 19, 2010 at approximately 04:00, a 57-year-old man was at a local coffee shop on Cassells Street, with friends when a 40-year-old female entered the coffee shop and became belligerent while addressing the male. She then threatened to slit his throat. The male, fearing for his safety immediately left the coffee shop, went home and called the police to complain of the threats.

Cst. Marshall of the North Bay Police later attended the court house on Plouffe Street, at 10:10 AM, and arrested Linda Mcleod of Lakeshore Drive in North Bay. Upon searching her she was found to have a quantity of a controlled substance in her possession. She was charged with Threatening and Possession of a Controlled Substance and held for Bail.
