BayToday has carried a lot of stories about front line heroes recently, now here's your chance to nominate someone you think deserves recognition.

The #LeonsTrueHeroes Giveaway is a chance to recognize the local heroes that make a difference in the North Bay area - the health care workers, grocery store workers, restaurant staff, bus drivers, garbage collectors, first responders, truck drivers and so on.

"This is a national promotion, and I hope our local community takes part and nominates our local heroes so someone from our area has a chance to win and be recognized for what they are doing for all of us," says Julie Jenkins, VP and General Manager of Leon's Furniture North Bay.

"Nominations have to be in by May 11 and there's $10,000 to be won. I'd love to see a local hero be given some of that. They're working the front lines and keeping us all safe and supplied with what we need," adds Jenkins.

Prizes include a $5,000 Leon's Gift Card, three more $1,000 gift cards, and other prizes as well.

People can nominate their #LeonsTrueHeroes on social media. Complete details on how the contest works can be found here.
