Schools in the Near North District School Board are actively accepting registrations for students who will be starting kindergarten this September.
The Board provides an English and French Immersion Kindergarten Program that engages children in learning opportunities to foster self-confidence and success.
Later in the spring, each elementary school will host a Welcome to Kindergarten orientation session, where educators will share early learning activities that parents can do together with their children at home before school begins.
Each child will receive a Welcome to Kindergarten Bag that will include resources and experiences for parents and children to build a solid foundation for school success and life-long learning.
Children entering Junior Kindergarten this September are required to be 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2015 and Senior Kindergarten are required to be 5 years of age December 31, 2015.
