Beginning July 25, 2009, Discovery North Bay Museum will be hosting one hour themed activities for children ages 5-12 years of age. The workshops take place every Wednesday from 1-2pm and Saturday from 11-12 pm until August 29th.

The activities are staff supervised and will range from crafts to board games to science experiments. The first theme is King Tut's Egypt on July 25th where the kids come and play an ancient Egyptian board game and learn how to write in hieroglyphics. Other themes include Space, Things that Fly, The Mighty Jungle, Inuksuk Making, Weather, Scrapbooking, and Origami.
