My oldest son plays hockey with the West Ferris Hockey Association, Mike Guillemette wrote to BayToday.
"We barely have ice time so we decided to take matters in our own hands and built our own, and we invite folks to join us in pick up games and skating."
The rink is the pride and joy of his sons Jacob -10 and Joseph - 8.
"Our rink is located at the end of Gertrude Street West, on Lake Nipissing, and we also cleared an area for parking with easy access to our rink.
"The rink features a skating oval around it so folks can skate around when a game is on."
