Just Sports by Cam officially open for business

The North Bay Downtown Improvement Association welcomed its newest member today Just Sports by Cam, North Bay’s newest sports retailer.

Mayor Victor Fedeli officially welcomed Cam Graham and his staff to the downtown core by assisting with the unlacing of the ribbon.

Graham, who has a long working history in the downtown core, says, that was one major factor that led to him opening on Main Street.

"After 12 years, at Richardson's and a number of years down the street with Lefebvre's all those years downtown, it was an easy decision for me to come back downtown."

Graham says other key factors that made the downtown appealing versus a strip mall or fully enclosed mall were working hours and the savings he can pass on to his customers.

"The mall means my prices have to be higher, traditionally, anyway, and the views of the committee down here it allows me to be more flexible with my hours,” he says.

“Which I know sometimes is a bone of contention down here, but at the same time for a single operating small business, it is much easier for me to work around my schedule as well with kids and everything else. So really for me it was still a pretty easy decision," says Graham
