Jean Paul was intoxicated and angry

On the 3rd of March Cst. Scott McFarlane and Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man for being intoxicated in a common area.

The man was brought to the hospital for a medical clearance and while there allegedly began to shout and swear and threatened the officers.

While being brought back to the station he further allegedly began spitting all over the interior of the vehicle, and when at the station and being removed from the police vehicle, struck one of the officers.

Jean Paul GAUTHIER 49 years old of Lakeshore Dr. is charged with Cause a disturbance, Uttering Threats, Assault Police and Mischief Under. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
