Event: Movie Night “Heidi”
Date: Tuesday, June 30th, 2009
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington Street East – Downstairs Auditorium
Admission: Free

Everyone likes a good movie, but what were they watching when the Quints were born? Great movies, of course! If you are interested in classic films, enjoy local heritage, and like family events, then this is for you!

The last Tuesday of each month, the Dionne Quints Museum and the North Bay Public Library are screening classic films that were on the big screen when the Quintuplets were on the front pages.

Each film we will be showing will relate to the story of the Quints and North Bay history. This month’s film is Heidi because the Dionne sisters were such huge Shirley Temple fans, and it stars Jean Hersholt who starred alongside the Quints in Five of a Kind. Doors open at 5:30, and the movie starts at 6:00. Donations are certainly appreciated but admission is free for all: young, old, and everyone in between!

The Dionne Quints Museum features the original Dionne homestead with Quint artifacts and photographs as well as research and education programming. As a not for profit institution, all this is done without the benefit of government support. Check our website for updates and tour information - northbaychamber.com/museum

So, come on out and catch a movie! What better way to show your support of local heritage and have some cool summer fun!
