It's a picnic marathon

This Sunday afternoon, July 19th, Piebird Bed & Breakfast presents the first annual Picnic Marathon and Garden Concert featuring The Good Lovelies & Revival Dear.

Tickets are $20 and on sale at The Hibou Boutique (170 Main St. North Bay) or at the gate. There will be free admission for children & youths 15 and under. Homegrown, vegetarian picnic foods will be available for purchase.

Sherry of Piebird says, "The idea of the Picnic Marathon is that we're challenging everyone to picnic at least once a day, everyday, consecutively for as long as they can -- and this garden party will be the kick off!"

"We're hoping some folks are going to be able to picnic everyday right through to next year's Picnic Marathon."

"There is no doubt that if many of our attendees incorporate more picnics into their lives then the world
will be a better place," notes Yan of Piebird.

"Good food, fresh air, connecting to the environment, connecting to friends/family, and creating fond memories
are some of the benefits... and oh course picnics are fun!"
