It's a bloomin busy week

North Bay Blooms looks forward to a busy week with two clean up nights happening. First that good folks from the Pulp and Paper Health and Safety Team will clean up along McKeown Avenue (beside Redpath) starting at 4:30 pm.

North Bay Blooms looks forward to a busy week with two clean up nights happening.

First that good folks from the Pulp and Paper Health and Safety Team will clean up along McKeown Avenue (beside Redpath) starting at 4:30 pm.

Then on Thursday the team from the Association for Community Living will not only clean around FJ Dellandrea Place on Wallace Road starting at 4:30, but they will also host a BBQ a barbeque for the cleanup crew starting at 5:00pm.

The North Bay Bloom Committee advises BayToday readers that nominations for the Front Yard Garden contest are now in, about 100 nominations have been received and they thank Canada Post carriers for helping out.

“The North Bay Horticultural Society and North Bay Master Gardeners will now work towards final judging with results due by July 26,” states NBB Chair Chris Mayne.

“The List of this year’s front yard garden nominees will be posted on www.northbayblooms.com Wednesday morning.”
