Is that a baggie in your pocket, or?

A baggie sticking out of a man's pocket caught the eye of West Nipissing police officers after they stopped a car for speeding. On September 4th, a traffic stop was conducted on Quesnel Rd.

A baggie sticking out of a man's pocket caught the eye of West Nipissing police officers after they stopped a car for speeding.

On September 4th, a traffic stop was conducted on Quesnel Rd. after the vehicle was noticed going at a high rate of speed. 

After speaking with the driver, the officers noticed that he was nervous and not making eye contact. 

The driver was detained under the suspicion that he was impaired. 

But upon leaving the vehicle, a clear plastic baggie was noticed sticking out of the driver`s pocket. 

When asked to show the contents of the plastic bag, 7 `ICE` pills were found. 

The 45 year old Garden Village man was arrested and taken back to police HQ where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance. 

He was subsequently released on an Appearance Notice.
