Interested in making a deputation on the Parry Sound accommodation review?

The Near North District School Board is accepting registrations from anyone who is interested in making a deputation directly to the Board of Trustees regarding schools involved in the Parry Sound area accommodation review.


The meeting will be held at McDougall Public School on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.


Members of the public wishing to make a five minute presentation to the Board must submit their deputation in writing. Deputations for presentation will be received up to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 by Carrie Girard, Information Officer, at [email protected].


Deputation requests must include: speaker’s name, address and contact numbers, the topic and a written copy of the presentation.


The Board will be deciding the future of the schools involved, in open session, at its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. The ARC for the Parry Sound area family of schools includes: McDougall Public School, Nobel Public School, Victory Public School, William Beatty Public School and Parry Sound High School.


The Accommodation Review Committee (ARC) presented its final report and recommendations to the Board of Trustees for consideration on June 25, 2013.
