The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling Leggett Road and Chetwynd Road when they observed a vehicle in the ditch around 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
OPP investigated the collision and discovered that the driver had been drinking and subsequently arrested Richard Clark, 53 of Burk’s Falls, Ontario with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday January 28, 2016 in Sundridge, Ontario.
