If you egg someone's house, wear a helmet

A man that egged someone's house, got caught because he wasn't wearing a helmet.

OPP say October 30, at approximately 7:35 p.m. OPP officers responded to a mischief call in Elliot Lake.

The complainant reported that a man who was known to him, came to his house riding an ATV, and threw numerous eggs at the front window. 

The complainant recognized the egg man because he wasn't wearing a helmet and his face was visible.  

On October 31 the egg man was arrested.

Daniel Shoup, 26, from Elliot Lake is charged with:

  • Mischief, 
  • Driving while Disqualified - Court Order, 
  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance, 
  • Off Road Vehicle - Driver - No Helmet, 

Shoup is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on December 5.

As John Lennon aptly said, "Man, you've been a naughty boy." Police gave no reason for the egging.
