The area is still experiencing high winds and occasional whiteouts.

First of all, don’t call the OPP. The Ministry of Transportation is in charge of highway maintenance and they have the most up to date information on highway conditions in this area and across the province.

And since we are on the topic of poor weather conditions, everyone who is traveling in this type of weather should remember to turn their headlights on so that you can be seen in poor weather.
