Hwy. 17 North of Sault Ste. Marie Closed to Batchewana

Hwy 17, north of Sault Ste Marie, between Batchawana and Sault Ste Marie has been closed. A combination of poor to zero visibility and a motor vehicle collision has forced the closure of the highway.

For the most up to date information on Hwy conditions, and when this stretch of Hwy 17 will be re-opened, please call the Ministry of Transportation Winter Road Condition Service telephone number at 1-800-268- 4686.
