A North Bay Police Street Crime investigation resulted in a vehicle stop on Gertrude St at 6:22 p.m. on the 20th Feb.
The lone male occupant was arrested and a subsequent search located 8.6 grams of powdered cocaine, a set of brass knuckles, and a quantity of Canadian currency.
A subsequent search of his residence located 9.2 grams of cocaine, 4.5 grams of hashish, digital scales, another set of brass knuckles and more Canadian currency.
David Stanley 33 years of Hwy 11 North has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, 2 counts of breach of recognizance, and possession of property obtained by crime. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
