A Huntsville man faces several sex related charges after an investigation by the Province;s new Human Trafficking Intelligence-led Joint Forces.
OPP are calling Tony Orr a "multi-jurisdictional offender."
In May the investigation began with allegations made by a victim who did not get paid for her services. During the investigation, numerous multi-jurisdictional incidences dating back to 2010 were identified, and additional victims came forward with similar complaints.
As a result of that investigation, 58-year-old Tony Orr of Huntsville, is charged with:
- Three counts of sexual assault
- Communicate with anyone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services
- Two counts of fraud under $5,000
Orr is scheduled to appear in court on January 26, 2021. Previous charges are before the court.
On May 4, the OPP Crime Unit and the Anti Human Trafficking Investigation Coordination Team were notified of a complaint of a man approaching a "vulnerable woman to provide sexual services for money."

OPP members from the new Provincial Investigations, with assistance from the Orillia Crime Unit and detachment members, arrested and charged Orr.
"Being a victim of any crime can be devastating. In these instances, the offender purposely chose highly vulnerable, marginalized individuals to victimize," says Detective Sergeant Andrew Taylor, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit. "Other victims may be out there and we ask that they contact the police if they have information."
